Are you a translation agency?
We are an online platform that allows you to receive an instant quote and place an order for a professional translation. The convenience and speed of our system is what sets us apart from other certified translation vendors. We translate your documents in-house, or assign them to qualified professional translators. You will receive a guaranteed deadline for the delivery of your translations.

Who will translate my documents?
All documents in are entrusted to native speakers of the target language who are certified as sworn translators at the local court and meet our quality requirements.

How long does it take before I receive my translation?
The guaranteed deadline is always specified in the overview when you place your order. Do you need your translations sooner? Please tick the relevant box when placing your order and send us your documents. We will then contact you as soon as possible with a suitable offer. Please note that the guaranteed deadline is the shipment date of your translation. We are not responsible for any delays in the postal services.

Which file formats can you handle?
We can process virtually all file formats. However, our online application can only calculate an instant quote for scanned PDF file, image files (jpg, png or other), and Word files. If you upload other formats, the application will tell you that automatic price calculation is not possible and you will have the option to send your documents to us. We will then contact you as soon as possible with a suitable offer.

How are prices calculated?
Our prices for translations are always based on the number of pages in your documents, the type of document and the language pair. They are subject to VAT. The minimum rate for a translation amounts to 50 EUR excl. VAT.

How can I make payment?
You can currently pay online using Bancontact, Maestro and all credit cards through the secure payment services offered by Stripe.

Can I cancel a translation I ordered?
Your order is final once the payment has been processed and the order has been accepted by Certifiedtranslations.be. Should you have placed an incorrect order or should you no longer require your translation for any other reason, please contact us at info@certifiedtranslations.be. If your order has not been processed yet, it can still be cancelled with a full refund, subject to an administrative fee of 20 EUR. If the translation has already been started or completed, the completed services will be billed, with a minimum of 50% of the order value. The remaining amount will be credited and refunded to you.

Can my order still be changed after I've made the payment?

This is possible, but only if Certifiedtranslations.be finds errors in your order upon acceptance of the order. For instance, if Certifiedtranslations.be finds that you have submitted a contract for translation, but you indicated you wanted to have a birth certificate translated, Certifiedtranslations.be will change the quote and send it to you for approval.

What if I’m not satisfied with my translation?
We are committed to delivering high-quality translations. Our translators have all taken an oath to complete all translations conscientiously to the best of their knowledge and ability. If you are not satisfied with your translation for any reason, please contact us at info@certifiedtranslations.be and we will look for a solution together.
